利兹大学是英国规模最大、最负盛名的大学之一。学校始终致力于研究科学与产业之间的关系，并将研究成果致力于利兹市的发展。利兹大学以教育成果享誉世界，每年获得的研究经费额度为英国各大学的前十名，所以在英国本土很受学生和家长的欢迎。
